The Recruiting Workflow.
Built in the coach workspace today (demo, localStorage, sample data).
- Master Database
Shared list of prospects. College coaches search it and add from their offline board. Calculated scores are read-only. - Add To Board
The green (+) button adds a prospect to your program’s own Recruiting Board. Boards are per program. - Coach Fit & Team Needs
Coach Fit and Team Need scores set the Priority Tier automatically. - Coach Grading
Each signed-in coach grades with A+ to F or 0–100. The Head Coach sets staff weights, by position group if wanted. - Adjusted Recruit Score
Updates as grades arrive. It never changes Tier or Confidence. - Connect
Message athletes, coaches and instructors. Demo only: messages are not sent and nothing is encrypted yet. - Calendar & Schedule Visit
Scheduling a visit creates a calendar event and logs the action. - Automatic Stage
Stage comes from logged actions, never picked by hand: Identified, Contacted, Evaluating, Visit Planned, Visit Completed, Offer Out, Committed (or Declined if it is the latest action). - Commitments
Committed prospects appear on the Commitments page with school rankings.
- JUCO and transfer portal: every player list shows Level / Class (HS 2027, JUCO 2028, Tr 2029) and Eligibility Left, which coaches or athletes enter.
- Current Playing Level is a field on every prospect, with a Level filter.
Workflow By Role.
What each role does, sees, and connects with. “Coming Soon” means not built yet.
Athlete
- Does: creates a profile, adds a photo, enters metrics, chooses what is shared.
- Sees: own player card and athlete calendar.
- Connects: messages from coaches through Connect (demo); the athlete controls who can message.
- Verified data: each metric shows who verified it, or “Unverified / Coach-Entered”.
Parent / Guardian (No Account)
- Does: confirms by emailed link and one-time code, then gives consent for athletes under 18.
- Sees: what programs can see; read-only messages through a private manage link.
- Changes: can adjust or revoke through the emailed link, no password.
Verified Data Provider Verifier
- Who: High School Coaches and Private Instructors are verifiers. One free role with a Provider Type: High School Coach, Private Instructor / Trainer, Showcase / Event Organizer, or Other.
- Does: verifies each athlete metric separately and vouches for athletes; high school coaches can keep a roster of their athletes.
- Connects: messages athletes they verify and college coaches (demo).
JUCO Coach
- Does: lists JUCO players and eligibility, and follows transfer-portal movement.
- Sees: Connect, Level / Class and Eligibility Left.
- Connects: 4-year coaches and athletes (demo).
4-Year College Coach
- Head Coach: sets grade weights, grading scale and team needs.
- Pitching / Position / Assistant Coaches, Recruiting Coordinator, Graduate Staff: each signs in as themselves, grades prospects, and logs actions.
- All staff: use the Master Database, board, Coach Fit, Connect and Calendar.
Athletic Department / Director / Compliance
THE READ Admin / Support
- Does: data quality, verification review and moderation (block/report).
- Coming Soon Not built yet. Needs a backend and an audit log.
